Holidays Are Interesting

Holidays Are Interesting

Holidays are interesting. They can be exhilarating and exhausting. They can remind us of joy and
disappointment. Holidays can be fun. Hot chocolate, sledding, dinner with family, and seeing a best
friend are some of the memories we all hope to have.

Holidays come and go. Memories last for a time, but the need for an understanding, compassionate
friend is always there.

May we suggest you try something different this holiday season? Add Jesus to
your list of friends. His gift to you is grace. His burden is light. Consider for a moment how valuable His
friendship is.

Jesus, as your friend and Savior, loves you.

(Romans 5:1-21)

Jesus gave His life for you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his
friends.

(John 15:13)

Jesus is a friend who understands every weakness because He was tempted in every way that we are
while living on the Earth.

(Hebrews 4:15-16)

Jesus knows your every need. Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you. . .

(Psalm 55:22)

As you add Jesus to your list of friends, we invite you to worship with us on Sunday morning. You will
find a friendly, Jesus-loving group who want to obey God’s Word according to the Holy Bible.

Jesus loves you, and we do too!
