November 26th Message of the Week
BLESSED
As we come up on the holidays, what a perfect time to reflect on GOD’S grace and mercy and the love that’s poured out on us. Sometimes we think of being blessed as material things. Truly, having a house, a job, and food on the table is a blessing. But a true blessing is SALVATION and the cost of salvation that Jesus had to go through for us! When I reflect on this, it brings tears to my eyes to think of the pain that Jesus suffered on that cross, the thorns on his head, His flesh torn apart, the blood that was shed, and His cry in (Luke 23:34-46) “And Jesus said, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And parting his garments among them, they cast lots. And Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said this, He gave up the ghost.” - Todd Krouse
