"Of This World"
I think that one of the most difficult things that we battle as Christians is trying to “Live in this World “ and NOT “Of this World”.
So many times our Christianity gets caught up in the world of technology and social media that the devil finds his hand in it and we start to lose track of our walk with God. When that happens, it’s so easy to put our guard down and open a door to temptation and evil.
In 1 John 2:15-17, John tells us, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vainglory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.” How often do we find ourselves in the crowd being followers instead of Christian leaders just because sometimes the roads are easier to walk than to lead?
