Judgment
I’ve often failed in my Christian walk with God and have gotten lost so many times along the way. I've searched many churches to find guidance and have come only to find “judgment" or a feeling of not belonging. There have been numerous years of staying distant from church because of "judgment". I always thought about "who I was" or "if I belong" in this church.
When Jesus called the Apostles to spread His Word, he chose Paul, a man who persecuted Christians, put them in prison, and even sent some to their death, but JESUS CONVERTED HIM. Remarkably, Paul was chosen to do God's work.
Throughout the New Testament, Jesus walked the Earth to preach and teach to SINNERS. He went looking for you and me! Never did He say not the place for you or you’re not good enough here. He said, “Come to me all that labor, and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28).
Finally, in Romans 3:21-24, "But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it—The righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus."
The invitation of Jesus is meant for you. This is not an invitation of judgment, but of love and salvation.
